
Providence House is able to offer affordable senior housing with daily assisted living services to seniors of all incomes. Due to the unique combination of financial funding sources, reduced monthly rents are available to eligible seniors.
Below-market rent apartments are available to seniors who meet income and asset eligibility criteria established by the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency (MassHousing). The eligibility criteria may change from year to year,
but income cannot exceed 60% of the area median income levels.
In addition, a limited number of apartments are available to individuals
eligible for the Group Adult Foster Care (GAFC) Program and The Program For
All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).

- Paid utilities (except telephone and cable TV)
- Weekly housekeeping service
- On-site nurse and trained 24-hour awake staff

Funding sources to develop and support Providence House Senior Living Community include:
- Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency (MassHousing) mortgage financing
- 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits allocated through the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency (MassHousing)
- Massachusetts Affordable Housing Trust funds
- HOME funds, Massachusetts Department of Housing & Community Development
- Leading the Way funds, City of Boston Department of Neighborhood Development
- Neighborhood Housing Trust funds, City of Boston
- Massachusetts Group Adult Foster Care program
