Since 1975, the Boston Archdiocese Planning Office for Urban Affairs, under the leadership of Monsignor Michael F. Groden, President and Lisa Alberghini, Executive Vice President, has been dedicated to developing affordable housing.

The Planning Office for Urban Affairs developed over 25 projects of mixed-income affordable housing for families, the elderly, people living with HJV/AIDS, and mentally handicapped individuals. Many of these affordable housing units are located within Boston neighborhoods, but others are located north, west and south of Boston, including Beverly, Lynn, North Andover, Billerica, Revere, Watertown, Chelsea, Worcester, Malden, Waltham and Scituate. With the opening of the Providence House Senior Living Community, the Planning Office of Urban Affairs is responsible for developing over 2,000 mixed-income affordable housing units.

Edward A. Founded in 1971, The Architectural Team is a 45-person design firm based in Chelsea, MA that serves a broad range of markets and clients. In its more than 30 years of experience, the firm has developed a design portfolio in multiple sectors, including residential, healthcare, commercial, and hospitality. Built projects range from multifamily residential buildings to biomedical research laboratories, from corporate headquarters to five-star hotels, and luxury high rise mixed-use developments.
