The peaceful campus setting features a community park, walking paths, mature landscaped grounds and a gazebo. The surrounding neighborhood is comprised of family homes, apartments and condominiums and is within easy walking distance to banks, retail shops and the MBTA Green line on Commonwealth Avenue. Medical services are available at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center located less than one mile away.
Residents of Providence House will enjoy furnishing their apartment homes, which feature kitchenette, private bathroom, wall-to-wall carpeting, window treatments and an emergency call system. Residents will discover the companionship of new friends and neighbors, as well as the opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities planned by a full-time
Activity Director. Typical programs include everything from shopping excursions to exercise programs, theme parties to discussion groups, or just socializing in the country kitchens and other inviting common areas.

At Providence House, we understand that independence and a dignified lifestyle are what seniors value most. That's why everything we do at Providence House is done with these resident values in mind.
One of the primary goals is to maintain independence and personal choice for all our residents - we stand ready to assist those who need just a little help with their daily routines. Sometimes it's as simple as a reminder to take medication, help with bathing and dressing, or just having an interested listener. Regardless of the level of assistance needed, we provide it with an atmosphere of respect, dignity and compassion so residents enjoy peace-of-mind and a dignified, supportive lifestyle.
